DCS drill collar slips are designed and manufactured in accordance with API Spec 7K specifications and SY5049-91 "Drilling Slips". With multi-piece structure, they can adapt to the change of the OD of the drill collar after wear. They boast light weight, large clamping range, and Firmness.
There are three types of DCS drill collar slips: S, R and L. They can accommodate drill collars from 3’’ (76.2mm) to 14’’ (355.6mm) OD. The handling sizes can be adjusted by changing the quantity of inserts or slip body. It is manufactured in a structure of multi-segment pieces with firm structure, light weight, and large holding range, which is easy to fit the changing of the OD of the drill collar.
