Taper Mill is mainly used to repair deformed fish top, to trim crimping caused by various tools on the casing at the coupling during the drilling process and burrs caused by perforation, and to clean up the mineral crystals and other hard impurities remaining on the well wall so as to restore the diameter.
Taper Mill relies on alloy milling on the cone to protrude the inner wall of the casing and the crystals and other impurities remaining on the inner wall of the casing. The cylindrical part plays a role of righting, and the milled debris is brought back to the ground by the well flushing fluid.
