Coiled tubing(CT), also known as flexible pipe, is a kind of welded steel pipe with high strength, good plasticity and strong corrosion resistance. The length of a reel can reach several thousand meters. At present, with the development of coiled tubing operation machine and related supporting equipment, coiled tubing operation technology has been applied to drilling, workover, oil testing, oil production, production increase, well completion and other fields.
Our conventional coiled tubing raw material has low content of sulfur and phosphorus, uniform microstructure, suitable mechanical properties, the flexion ratio of steel coil is lower than 0.80, and the strength performance difference of different parts is within 50MPa. All mechanical properties meet API Spec 5ST specification and have excellent fatigue resistance.
The steel grade and size information covered are as follows:
Type: Conventional coiled tubing(CT)
Advantages: high-strength, excellent fatigue resistance.
Reference material: CT70 CT80 CT90 CT110 CT110
Standard: API Spec 5ST
OD: 3/4 " ~ 3 1/2" (19.1 mm to 88.9 mm)
Thickness: 0.075 " ~ 0.3" (1.9mm~7.6mm)
Users can choose the required material and steel grade according to the operating conditions. The dimensions can be customized according to API Spec 5ST or user requirements.
